I have now safely landed in London and I am beginning to settle in. I have a very cozy little flat that looks out on a community garden and what I believe is one of the towers of Westminster Cathedral. As I type I am in an internet cafe on Merylebone Street. Tonight I am celebrating the birth of a certain Daniel Burzynski aka Contax at a pub in Hoxton. Life is suddenly not at all boring. Quite to the contrary actually. Wish me luck as I begin to get my bearings.

Excitement is everywhere, and the Earth shivers with anticipation as a new era in my life begins to begin. Yes, tomorrow at 4:45pm PST I will get on a plane and fly away to London, England, arriving the next day at 10:30 GMT. I will then meet up with my buddy Alex and catch a ride to Wigram House in Central London, right next to Westminster Cathedral, where I will be living for the next four months. During that time, I will be taking classes at the University of Westminster, looking for work, and generally having an amazing time. I also plan to make out with a few English birds.
Yes: Next time I type my life will have changed completely. Wish me luck!

Uploaded a new track for you all to listen to! Well, sort of new. It is an alternate version of SlowBeam, that I did a while ago. It began it’s life as the ending of the original version of SlowBeam, but then it just got too elaborate and became an entity unto itself. It’s very spacey and gushy and fluid. Sort of like goo. In fact it is so much like goo that I am calling SlowBeam (Goo Mix). Enjoy.

Just got back from a very relaxing overnight trip to Los Angeles. I now know where all those people who I always used to see rollerblading have disappeared to. They are all in full spandex with headphones on, cruising the beach at Santa Monica. Not only that but I think they have been reproducing like mad since I last saw them!
Now let me share a funny little snapshot of L.A. with you. I am sitting at an open air cafe on the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, people-watching to my hearts content. I see a kind of down and out, homeless-looking guy standing by a trashcan. My mom notices that he’s probably a little crazy because he is having a really intense conversation with nobody.
A couple minutes later a woman walks by in full glamorous L.A. style, very chic and trendy. She also is having an intense converstion with nobody. Oh wait, no, she is walking down the street with her cellphone connected to a handsfree headphone set, having an in-depth conversation with whoever is on the other end of the line. By all appearances, both she and the homeless man are talking to invisible people. Who’s crazier? You tell me.

What’s up with me in the New Year? Well, currently I am working real hard at getting my ass out of bed before noon. I have taken to setting an alarm for the butt-crack-of-dawn hour of 10:00 AM.
On the rare occasion that I actually am awake you can often find me working on this remix of the Zelda theme song that I am currently undertaking. I got a massive jolt of inspiration when I found this really sweet sample of an old TV ad from the 80′s, when Zelda for NES first came out. It’s got these kids saying stuff like “intense” and “awesome”, then busting out into superfly freestyle rhymes. Case in point: “It’s the Legend of Zelda and it’s really rad / Those creatures from Gaanon are pretty bad”. Siiiiick bra. Don’t worry, music fans, you’ll get to hear the remix soon. Until then, you can just listen to SlowBeam over and over and over again. And when your done with that, just kick back, and sip on a little mocha. Hey. You wanted to click on that link. Get on now, go.
