Just back from an excellent extended weekend in sunny San Diego, having a kind of hard time getting back in my groove. I’m doing that awesome check-blogs-check-email-repeat cycle that gets me nowhere and makes me feel like a giant slug by the end of the day.
This is not work:
- Javan finally has a photo blog. Not surprisingly, it’s awesome.
- Burn Collector #13 is great. Finished reading it and immediately ordered an old issue I don’t have, plus the book. Al Burian is the raddest writer; I’m addicted.
- Yeti and ANP Quarterly are two new magazines that I’m liking. Yeti got love on Pitchfork today. Good to see good things getting props.
- New 33 1/3 books
- New Gossip video by Wyld File. Also looks like they snuck out another Beck video (screencap above), plus a Vimeo page, here. Awesome.
- Marcus posts another awesome video over at the Tables Turned blog. This time it’s Electric Prunes jamming with the girl from Get Smart.
- Ex-PDX music lady Amy Vecchione has a new MP3 blog. She and her housemates will be posting an MP3 a day. “Nice MP3 blog, jerk!” is a great/funny title for an MP3 blog. Jerk.
- Tape: interesting Sherburne-approved techno blog.
I smell popcorn and have just been alerted (via AIM) that there is an rainbow outside mine window. New Nice Nice mp3s soon. Stay tuned?
